June 18, 2025. As of early June, Jan Dwornig has joined BUSE as a partner at the Düsseldorf office. He is a certified specialist in international business law, commercial and corporate law, and transport and freight forwarding law.
Jan Dwornig brings more than 15 years of experience advising clients—particularly in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium—on cross-border corporate and commercial matters. His client base includes mid-sized companies and private equity funds. Prior to joining BUSE, he was a partner at TN legal in Krefeld, Beiten Burkhardt in Düsseldorf, and the Bruckhaus spin-off firm von Woedtke & Partner.
He is recognized as an expert in international business law, corporate restructurings, and arbitration. He has advised on complex M&A transactions, international commercial contracts, and post-M&A disputes, with a strong focus on cross-border structures. As an appointed arbitrator for DIS and ICC and with extensive experience in representing parties in both national and international arbitration proceedings, he combines legal precision with strategic foresight. Clients such as Duisburg Hafen AG, BP, and Air Berlin have relied on his expertise in corporate law, contract structuring, and corporate governance.
