Vanessa Isabel Seliger, LL.M. joined BUSE in 2020 as an attorney at the Düsseldorf office. She is a member of the Public Sector and Healthcare and Pharma Practice Group.
Ms. Seliger advises the public sector and its subsidiaries and affiliates on public commercial law, in particular in the areas of public procurement law, state aid law, public transport law and energy law. Her focus is on advising public transport authorities, municipalities, public hospital operators and public utilities as well as special-purpose associations, inter alia, on national and European public procurement procedures. In addition, she advises health care providers and service providers on various medical law issues.
In addition to her expertise in the areas of public procurement and state aid law, Ms. Seliger also has broad knowledge in the area of medical law. She successfully completed the master’s program in “Medical Law” at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. This ended with the award of the academic degree “Master of Laws” (LL.M.) and at the same time provided her with the theoretical knowledge for the specialist lawyer for medical law.
