Christine Nitschke is a lawyer at BUSE’s Berlin office.

As a member of the Intellectual Property practice group, she focuses on trademark law, copyright law and unfair competition law.

She represents companies both in and out of court in the aforementioned areas of law.

Additionally, Christine Nitschke assists companies in trademark applications as well as in proceedings before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (formerly the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market). Another focus encompasses the negotiation and drafting of contracts.

Christine Nitschke already specialized in IP during her studies and her legal traineeship. After completing her legal traineeship, Christine Nitschke worked as a legal secretary at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Berlin. Prior to joining BUSE, she was a lawyer at law firms in Baden-Württemberg and Berlin, specialized in intellectual property law.

She successfully completed the theoretical part of the course leading to the title of specialist lawyer for copyright and media law.
