Dr Mathias Maria Knorr is a Partner at BUSE’s Dusseldorf office. He is a member of the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical practice group.

Dr Mathias Maria Knorr advises employers and their human resources teams on all employment law issues. He furthermore advises service providers and agencies in the healthcare sector on diverse medical law issues.

He advises his clients on matters that are at the intersection between employment law and healthcare law (e.g. drafting head physician contracts, medical care centre contracts, cooperation and company agreements, etc. in the case of employment law, restructuring and outsourcing in hospitals, health insurance schemes, etc.). His clients include leading companies in the energy, financial services and healthcare sectors.

Prior to his practice at BUSE, Dr Mathias Maria Knorr worked several years at a law firm for one of the “Big Four” accounting firms, managing its national healthcare sector practice group. He exerted decisive influence on its establishment and orientation.

Dr Mathias Maria Knorr is a regular speaker at employment law and medical law events. He is also the author of various professional articles in employment law and healthcare periodicals. Dr Mathias Maria Knorr successfully completed the two courses enabling him to obtain special theoretical knowledge in employment law as well as qualification as a specialist lawyer for medical law.
