Christoph Alexander Eichler is a partner in the law firm BUSE and has been a lawyer at the Berlin office since 2014.

His main focus is on real estate and corporate law within the notarial profession – since 2015 also regularly as officially appointed notary deputy of his legal partner Michael Banhardt. He advises entrepreneurs and private individuals comprehensively, at a personal level and with an attention to detail and assists them in the structuring of their transactions. He also provides services at the notarial crossroads with family and inheritance law.

This includes in particular contract drafting, communication with register courts (commercial register, land registry offices etc.) as well as general legal advice in the areas of real estate law, company law, inheritance and family law as well as provision and support.

In his legal function as a member of the practice group Corporate and M&A as well as the practice group Real Estate and Construction Law, he advises mid-sized companies as well as private individuals on all questions of commercial and corporate law and in M&A transactions. In addition to the foundation of companies and the support of company acquisitions/disposals, this also includes the structuring of restructurings according to the German Transformation Act (UmwG). Furthermore, he has extensive experience in the field of – also cross-border – real estate transactions (share and asset deal), considering the respective and relevant tax aspects.

Main areas of activity:

  • Property purchase agreements / property development agreements
  • Partition of real estate according to the German Condominium Act (WEG), preparation of future and legally secure partition declarations and community regulations
  • Provision and will, bequeathing and giving
  • Establishment of companies, purchase contracts for shares in companies and the support of company acquisitions and sales
  • Restructuring in accordance with the German Transformation Act

Mr. Eichler has completed his professional training as a paralegal and notary clerk. He studied law at the Humboldt-University of Berlin. After his legal internship in Berlin, he was admitted to the bar in the district of the Berlin in 2014. In September 2019, he successfully passed the notarial professional examination (so-called third state examination) and thus has proven his theoretical and practical knowledge in the notarial area of preventive justice.
